So sorry to hear that Dorothy has passed away.  Her dear mother, Pearl, was married to my Grandpa, Earl Prosser and I remember Pearl often telling about the wonderful Merangue pies that Dorothy made!  Interesting the things we remember way back in our childhood.  For awhile our families were joined, then as happens in life, we each went out ways.  But I have fond memories of Ken and Dorothy, and now she is in heaven with my mom and dad and so many others that we have all loved.
Life is fragile.  Sincerely, Ron and Sue Baltzell and Doug and Mary Weed

Aunt Dorothy was an angel before, but now she has her official wings.  I will always be thankful that Dorothy gave me back my Mother, no one else could.
Dorothy was a wonderful cook, but you had better stay out of her kitchen while she was at work.  Many will miss her potato salad, baked goods and canned goods  forever.
God help Uncle Ken and their family endure.
           Much love,  Orla

Dorothy was a neighbor of mine for several years. She raised wonderful children and had a great partner in her husband, Ken, a good friend and respected neighbor. While I did not know her as well as Ken, she was kind, courteous, and neighborly at all times. My condolences to her family, and may God bless her soul !

Ken & Family,
I am so saddened to hear of Dorothy's death.  We (at TLC) have been praying for all of you, and now God has her along with many others we both knew--the Simpsons' and Kirkings'--over the years.  I think of my grandma, Jakie and my mother Marjorie, and "Mr.& Mrs. Kirking"...
the most precious people I can remember.  Ken, it has been tough, I'm sure, but God gets us through.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.   Diana (& brother Jim)

My dear friend Dorene and all of the family...Please know that our prayers are with you.  May He give you comfort now and always. Dorene, I will always remember the day your parents came to visit you, Kelly, and Tom in Torrington, Wyoming.  We had no idea of your parents' wild, fun humor, and I must say that when we first saw them all dressed in "hillbilly attire" we were all (even YOU) shocked! A memory to save a lifetime.  We will remember Dorothy that way, and with great fondness.  God Bless You, Love Jack and Kathie

Mom,
It has been almost a year since you left this world for your heavenly home....There is not a day that passes that you are not missed!  Sometimes my heart aches for missing you SO much and I feel cheated and angry at times because I want you here!!   But then I hear you through the words of my daughter, who is so much like you that I have to claim her wisdom as yours....she reminds me first how lucky we are to have had you in our lives and all the truly great times we had and the precious memories we made.  Secondly, she strictly advises me that you would not want me to be sad,  I can hear your voice in her words  Mom and I am reminded once again of your vast, positive influence and how it will ALWAYS be an important legacy in our family relationships. Thank you for that gift!
You have meant SO much to our family and to so many friends.  You are a true blessing and your spirit remains in our hearts and in the memories of your easy laughter, your loving ways, traditional values and our plentiful, happy times together.  You epitomized the ideal of motherly love and you were such a joy and pleasure to be with.  I can see in my mind's eye...your beautiful smiling face.. making God warm inside for having made you and giving Him joy as you have given all whom you loved and who loved you. I feel that warmth inside every time I think of you and I miss you so.                                                        Words can never speak my heart but you know, you always knew. You had a quiet, unspoken way, your own special countenance that let us feel you knew our hearts and loved us all unconditionally.
I love you with all my heart and I am ever so grateful to God that He shared your time here on earth with us, that He made you my Mom.  I know that I will see you again eventually in Gods time, I know that God has directed my life so that I have confidence that I will be with you in eternity.  I am making it my job to see that we ALL will be together again for eternity.
When I sing "I Can Only Image", I see you there with God, feeling every intense and moving thing that song describes.   It makes it easier to be without you for a little while.   Someday. together we will stand in His presence and to our knees we will fall, unable to speak at all. I can only imagine..
I love you Mama!!!!
Always and Forever,
your daughter,
 Dorene

Mom,
Its almost been a year since your passing and I think of you and miss you everyday.  It is truly inspiring to recognize that while I am missing you, I am thinking of all the wonderful things that we shared as a family and your unconditional love for us.  Mom, you and Dad gave our family a foundation that will serve us for generations.

I love you and miss you and I look forward to the day that we can share in the joy of heaven and God together.  As you watch over us, and I KNOW that you do, I am thankful for your love for us.

Your middle child,
Darrel
