To the Larsen family: Vonette and I always joked about being related to each other. She cut my hair for a couple of years while I lived in Cd'A and I became very fond of her and enjoyed her spunk and sense of humor. She was so thrilled about her new little grandson and shared pictures each time I saw her. What a good Mama she was. Last time I saw her was here at the senior home in Post Falls where she was cutting my aunt's hair. She enjoyed the seniors and brought them lots of laughs and joy. There are so many of us sharing the loss of such a dear lady. My heart hurts for you all, and my prayers will be with you for comfort and healing from this senseless tragedy. God bless you.

Dear Joel, Jovon, Joleen, & Jamie,
I know that words are only a feeble attempt to help someone going through such tragedy, but I am so sorry for your loss. When Grandma Mary told me about what had happened, I was shocked and unmeasureably saddened. I always enjoyed seeing you guys at Grandma & Grandpa's house. Vonette's sense of humor and strength of character are to be admired. I know that you have a very strong family unit, and that with time, love, and support you will get through this together.

To The Larsen Family!
I just don't know where to start. I have known Vonette as my friend, and hair dresser, and we known the family in BG before they moved. It was such a shock. It has taken days to hear about it, and get over the shock. Know that our Prayers are with the family at this time. We love you, and know that Vonette is looking down on you all! I just can't find the words that I feel at this time. I'm so glad that I got the chance in my life to meet such a kind person. She will be in my memory bank. Thanks! Much love and prayers for the family. Any way we can help let us know.

Its so hard to put into words the loss that I feel. Such a young woman-such a wonderful person- so sad that shes been taken from so many people who loved her. I'm so sorry Joel and girls for your loss. I can't imagine what you're going through. Its so hard to get over this kind of thing but I can tell you that some day the hurt will ease(it never goes away) but you do learn to live within your loss and you remember all the good times. Keep her memory alive for Zac..Love and Gods healing to you all.Next time you are in town please stop by. My boys would love to see you Joel... its been too long. Jan Wilson
I dont know your family and neither did I know Mrs.Vonette L. Larsen. I was just moved and saddened after reading about the sick road rage incident. I cant believe something so horrible and life changing can happen so fast and without warning. I admire your parents for wanting to protect you even in the face of death. I just wanted to say I think you all are very brave and I truly admire your grit and determination to get the accussed to justice. I cant believe that jerk is still not behind bars. Hang in there, God is watching over you all and things will get better!! Your family will be in my prayers.

I heard of your loss through Court TV and became very emotionally attached with the Larsen family because Vonette and I are the same age, graduated the same year from high school, are mothers to our children, and are both grandmothers. The one thing Vonette had that I didn't was a 22 year marriage with a man who loved her. Although I have never met any of you personally, I am truly sorry for your loss and the severe trauma your family has had to endure. I sincerely hope that each of you are able to heal from this horrible event in your lives.
